What We Use
Eroidan uses only strictly necessary cookies and storage. These cannot be opted out of without breaking core platform functionality.

Both cookies are set by Django, the web framework that powers Eroidan. They contain no personal information — only a random, unique identifier.
What We Don't Use
Eroidan does not use any of the following:
- Google Analytics or any third-party analytics scripts
- Facebook Pixel or any social media tracking cookies
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking technologies
- Fingerprinting or device identification tools
We have no relationship with advertisers. Eroidan products are ad-free and we do not share your browsing data with any marketing platform.
Offline Storage (PWA)
In addition to cookies, Eroidan uses two browser storage mechanisms to power offline functionality for exams:
- IndexedDB (via localforage) — Stores your exam answers locally on your device during connectivity loss. This data is automatically synced to our servers when your connection is restored and is deleted from your device after successful submission. This storage never leaves your device unless you are connected.
- Service Worker Cache — Caches static assets (JavaScript, CSS, images) so that the exam interface loads correctly even without an internet connection. This cache only contains website files, not personal data.
Both of these are essential for the offline exam experience that is core to Eroidan's value in the Nigerian connectivity context.
Your Control
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, block, and delete cookies. However, please note that blocking the session or CSRF cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the platform.
To clear Service Worker cache and IndexedDB storage, you can use your browser's developer tools (Application tab) or clear all site data from your browser settings for eroidan.com.
Since we only use strictly necessary cookies, no cookie consent banner is required under applicable Nigerian law. However, we provide this policy in the spirit of full transparency.
