Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Eroidan, a Computer Based Test (CBT) platform operated by iQOverseas Solutions Limited, a company registered in Nigeria with RC Number 8399982, with its registered office at Suite 216, Ebenezer Place, Area 1, Garki, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria.
By accessing or using Eroidan at eroidan.com or any subdomain thereof, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the platform.
If you are accessing Eroidan on behalf of a school or organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Description of Services
Eroidan provides two primary services:
- Individual Practice Platform — An online CBT practice environment for students preparing for JAMB/UTME, WAEC, NECO, Post-UTME, and Common Entrance examinations.
- School CBT Platform — A multi-tenant platform enabling schools to create, administer, and manage online examinations, with each school operating under a dedicated subdomain (school.eroidan.com).
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the platform at any time with reasonable notice.
Accounts & Eligibility
To use certain features of Eroidan you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current registration information, keep your password confidential, notify us immediately of any unauthorised access, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an individual account. School administrators must be at least 18 years of age. Student accounts on school portals are managed by the school administrator and may be created for students of any age.
School administrator accounts require email verification before they become active. We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion.
School Terms & Data Responsibilities
Schools that subscribe to Eroidan ("School Subscribers") take on additional responsibilities regarding the data of their students and staff.
Your responsibilities as data controller: As the school administrator, you are the data controller for your students' personal information. You confirm that you have obtained all necessary consents to upload student data, you comply with Nigeria's NDPR and applicable data protection laws, and you will inform students and parents/guardians about the use of this platform.
Our role as data processor: We process student data on your behalf strictly for the purpose of providing the Eroidan platform. We do not sell, share, or use student data for any purpose beyond service delivery.
Schools are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to upload and process their students' personal data. iQOverseas Solutions Limited is not liable for any NDPR violations arising from a school's improper data handling.
Payments & Refund Policy
Billing: All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦). School plans are billed per term or annually. Payments are processed securely via Paystack — we do not store your card details on our servers.
Refunds:
- Requests made within 7 days of payment will be considered, provided no paid features have been actively used
- No refunds are issued after 7 days or once paid features have been used
- If we discontinue a paid service before your subscription ends, a pro-rata refund will be issued for the unused period
- Requests must be sent to support@eroidan.com with your Paystack payment reference
Plan downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for the difference in plan cost.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Eroidan only for lawful purposes. You must not use the platform to distribute malware, gain unauthorised access to our infrastructure, systematically scrape data without consent, impersonate others, harass any individual, upload objectionable content, attempt to reverse engineer the platform, or resell access without our written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation without prior notice.
Exam Integrity
All users are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity.
Any form of cheating, impersonation, unauthorised sharing of exam questions, or manipulation of exam results is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
Students must not share exam content, allow others to take exams on their behalf, or use unauthorised aids during examinations.
School staff must not share exam content prior to the scheduled time, manipulate submitted results, or upload copyrighted questions without authorisation. Schools are responsible for ensuring exams are conducted in a supervised environment.
Intellectual Property
Our content: The Eroidan platform — including its design, software, code, branding, and practice question bank — is the intellectual property of iQOverseas Solutions Limited. You may not reproduce or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Your content: Content you upload (exam questions, student data, school logos) remains your property. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing the platform.
Account Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@eroidan.com. Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days unless a legal obligation requires retention.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, violate our Acceptable Use or Exam Integrity policies, your free account is inactive for more than 24 consecutive months, or we are required to do so by law.
For paid school accounts, we will provide a CSV data export upon request made within 14 days of termination.
Schools are strongly advised to periodically export their student and results data as a backup, independent of platform availability.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, iQOverseas Solutions Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of: the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₦10,000. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in Abuja, Nigeria, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (as amended).
